Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used. For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources aren't rewarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health. There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces. The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins. This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts. To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the “level up” button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone. After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes. The upgrade process is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. By clicking on the “transfer tab”, players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment. The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. However, there are numerous methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones. Leveling Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained. Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level. The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process. A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19. When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounted prices. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed. Requirements The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available). Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation. The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. item upgrading “Wildfire”, on the other hand increases damage from weapons. Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version. The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade. The game will put an item in your inventory once you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade.
